Are you going where i've been, little boy?
down alleys and streets where there's no joy,
young painted faces looking old and worn,
derelics sleeping through a cold wind storm,
sharp lookin dudes in long fast cars,
with girls whose arms have hidden scars,
the sun can't shine through buildings high,
no-one has ever seen the sky,
faded dreams in tall brown glasses,
a place to sleep where no-one passes,
junkies waiting for a fix,
a few gay boys just for kicks,
Eat an apple pie!
watch a bird fly by!
dream your dreams no matter how high!

~ LONELY ~

Sometimes I stand alone as a single unit,
and the whole world seems dual,
day, night,
black, white,
opposites going hand in hand,
sharing,
dreaming,
crying,
laughing,
and then there's me,
a single unit,

I've had a thousand lovers, as you can
plainly see,
I've has a thousand friends, that went away,
from me,
there is one fact I know is true,
of one true love, and one true friend,
and both are you,
you lie deep in my heart so easy to grasp,
like an out stretched hand, so easy to clasp,
never too far and never too near,
a soft gentle voice that I can hear,
a light at the end of a long dark hall,
courage and strength to make me tall,
someone nearby to pick up the pieces,
when lifes dream supposedly ceases,
I'll keep my hopes,

and even keep my childish schemes,
and I'll keep my friend in this secret place,

~ GOD'S MAGIC ~

Did you ever see a diamond tree?
did you ever trade for what a blubird made?
to bring a smile to me,
and the little girl cried when Georgie died,
to bring a tear to me,
I saw a diamond tree, and in the nest was a
treasure chest, and a needle with an eye,
and a coin, from a passerby
with an earring lying by
a piece of string,
and brought a smile to me,
did you ever kiss a handsome Prince?
did you ever climb a mountain high?
I kissed a Prince and climbed so high
and the little girl cried when the good Prince died,
and the mountain had a slide,
and brought a tear to me,
and I cried, and I cried, and I tried....



~ FAITH ~

I see a cross on a hill,
and ask "please, let this be thy will"
for I am filled with pain,
wish to be happy again,
lead me by the hand,
to where life is grand,
where I walk in the light,
with sparkling delight,
the gloom is too much, for one heart to bear,
for I have so much love to share,
be my friend, please stand by,
until the dark clouds pass on by,
then we will walk in the sunshine again,
counting the grains of sand so fine,
TOGETHER!.....



~ XMAS EVE ~

I went to church on christmas eve,
I didn't want to be alone,
and when the service ended, I decided to go home,
and there sat God upon my bed
he said "I waited long"
"I knew you would return real soon,
and just where, you had gone"
"I wasn't home tonight" he said,
"I let people, do my work instead,
for I was lonely too, tonight,
on my son's birthday it seemed so right,
to be where love is gently given,
just you and I,in our own heaven,
to talk of life and love and hope,
and let the spirit flow,
through these thin walls unto the world,
we'll spinkle it like snow,
A cross we'll carry upon our souls,
to symbolize our woe,
with back held straight and head held high,
only forward will we go"......

I want to thank all my friends for their encouragement without them i would not have had the courage to do this....JJ my hubby, Lady Oh, and Don (devils fan) ..and all you who had faith in me..
